Tuesday December 6th,2011 a sonically pleasing and socially engaging EP hit the web courtesy of Dr.B and Ben Z.

The Technocrats EP is sure to captivate listeners everywhere with its hard hitting beats, catchy samples, and purely genius lyrics. Dr. B laid the foundation on this EP with his straight up hip hop style beats that demanded lyrical content to match. Indeed Ben Z brought well crafted vivid rhymes to each track that will surely exceed expectations. Ben Z is joined by a featured emcee and fellow wordsmith on each track. The guest artists are MSP, Sphinx the Unfathomable, K.I.N.G. Kronos, The Editson, Roberto Rivera, and Comprehend.

From the moment you hit “play” it becomes apparent that you are not listening to mindless amateur hip hop. On the opening track “Hopeful” Dr. B's production shines through with choice cuts and distorted vocal effects, while Ben Z and featured artist MSP proceed to demonstrate their lyrical mastery. If this EP is any indication of what's to come, big things are in store for Dr. B and Ben Z.
